Giovanni Shepherd CO-Founder
One of the founding partners and chief operating officer of Solar Gleam Energy, Gio has grown within the renewable energy industry, advancing companies in various U.S. markets over the last nine years. With an MBA in business from St. John’s University, Gio has found a path to success by combining his business knowledge with his passion for renewable energy.
Gio oversees the main strategic advancement of Solar Gleam Energy, daily operational functions of the company, and many aspects of the business. He’s also an expert on residential solar energy. In addition, Gio is enthusiastic about achieving sustainability through renewable energies and loves seeing projects through from inception to commissioning in multiple markets around the country.
Gio’s well‑rounded experience includes over 14 years within the fixed income market in the financial services industry and as a multi‑state business owner of a sports academy. Gio also holds a degree in sports management from St. John’s University and was a former collegiate basketball scout with St. John’s Men’s Basketball - Big East Conference.
Outside of the office, Gio enjoys athletics activities such as golf, basketball, boxing, Latin dancing, and spending time with family and friends.

Kayla Ceballos VP of Sales
Kayla is a vital member of the company’s executive leadership team and oversees a robust group of energy consultants, providing them with all the tools and resources necessary to continue creating the change our world needs to see. Kayla has over two years in the solar industry and has worked her way to becoming the vice president of sales.
Kayla is passionate about bringing clean, affordable energy to her community through education and application. Kayla studied at Montclair State University, where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Marketing and her MBA in Business Administration.
As a former collegiate athlete, Kayla loves playing sports, outdoor adventures, and riding bicycles. In addition to that, she enjoys traveling, sunsets, great food, and great company.
Steve Anglin CEO and Founder
After spending decades on Wall Street and realizing the growing potential and need for reliable distributive renewable energy for all communities worldwide, Steve founded Solar Gleam Energy along with his COO and managing partner.
His 25 years of experience at financial powerhouses, including J.P. Morgan, UBS, and GE Capital, and his contribution to the renewable energy arena as the founder and CEO of WeSolar CSP Inc. have given him the platform and have elevated him to a thought leader in the industry of ESG and sustainability.
He has demonstrated the ability and expertise to steer complex initiatives from concept to funding, along with new company and product launches. Further achievements include Six Sigma Certification, PMP, and an executive MBA from Rutgers University.
